Copywriting training
Who writes your stuff?
And are they cutting the mustard?
It’s always useful to remind ourselves of the basic principles of copywriting – and to take a step back from our subject and look at it with fresh eyes.
I’ll get your folk working on real bits of copy that are relevant to your business, re-writing them, discussing what’s wrong and what could work better.
Sessions are usually pretty lively – I like to encourage bickering because it’s fun everyone has their own opinions when it comes to writing.
I cover:
- Audience, purpose and message
- Using benefits, not features
- Streamlining and editing (because as Mark Twain said: “I didn’t have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.”)
- Tone of voice and plain English.
And anything else you think would be useful – my courses are tailored to exactly what you need for your business.
